The Nations Cup Committee is pleased to announce that after a two year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, preparations are now underway to host The 2022 Nations Cup Soccer Tournament, July 15th – 17th, 2022 in Richmond, B.C.
We welcome all players, managers, officials, suppliers, and spectators alike to prepare to once again be a part of western Canada’s greatest amateur soccer tournament. All Team managers will be contacted soon to confirm their interest in securing a spot.
Current guidance from federal and provincial public health authorities is once again allowing sporting events and public gatherings. As such, we plan to run the tournament in the same general format as was done pre-pandemic. The committee will closely monitor government policies on a regular basis and advise if any changes or alterations to our plans are necessary.
As many know, the pandemic has brought financial strain on many businesses, including those who have generously sponsored and supported the tournament in the past. Any business owners or individuals who would like to assist and support the tournament in any way (financially or otherwise) are welcomed to reach out to us directly for information on how the tournament can showcase your business to our followers.
